Assistente - KH photoshoot

A couple of weeks ago I was given the great opportunity to be a photo assistant for a photographer named Kjetil Hasselgård. He was assigned to shoot a fashion series for a magazine called IN, from Norway. So, we headed out from Oslo 6 in the morning. My face was still closed and locked at dat point, but I smoothed out before we arrived at location around 11 o'clock. In the car we had male model Jonathan from Heartbreak agency. We got ourselves a nice road trip, discussing everything from photos to super advanced supercars, especially the new Toyota Kjetil brought to the table. We loved it.

When it comes to photographing, I was head master of the reflector work, and I liked it, as Mr. Hasselgård only didavailable light to get the whole natural feel to it. It was a great experience for a new cameraman as myself.
To give you all an idea of the full series I have a jpg here.

Fotografo preferito - These guys knows

Since I got into fashion, I've been admiring two photographers. I look for smoothness and I find dat in the work of Craig McDean and off course, norwegian Sølve Sundsbø, who is a very busy man! Sølve and McDean are both under the agency Art+commerce, with their own pages.

I thought I'd kick this picturepost off with a few shots from Craig McDean's portfolio. So here you have three shots from a series he did with Natalie
Portman. Didn't really know of her until this, now I kinda love her a bit..
Next up I have some smokin' shots from Sølve. A series called "The Enchanted Garden".

Grande fotografo moda - Sølve we dig

Nerds like me buy fashion magazines. Not that much because of the clothing, more about the lighting, poses and looks of the different campaigns from the expensive brands. The 58th issue of V Magazine, V Glow, shows off some pretty cool stuff. As the headline says, Sølve Sundsbø did his thing, and the pictures are stunning. The campaign he did was for a new "fragrance, Greed, by" (some guy with an italian name). Anyways, the pictures are so smooth. Pretty out of peoples league on lighting and retouch (cred to his retoucher).
Here's my favorite from the series

Moda ritratto - A Fashion Portrait

The picture below is part of a series we did by an old, trashed train. No lighting used in this one, but the sun, which we can't really hide from outdoors. To create the smoothe light on the model we held up a see-through reflector. The rest took care of itself.

Suite Matrimoniale - Vintage Series

World, you'll no longer be suffering. Here I present the vintage series. (I feel like an important person writing this, this way... Just need the money now.)
Great thanks to polaroid fashionists Ma'am Wollis n' Dr. Rygg, as well as the model Annichen Woll Eide who threw a perfect performance.

This is the final selection and retouched series, complete. Feel free to comment.

Alcuni moda; Anteprima - Sneak peak

As I've mentioned earlier (I think), I've shot a few fashion series this month, three to be exact. The presentation and not so global show off, will take place in Oslo on friday. I must say I'm a bit excited. The themes behind the images are colors, vintage and point'n'shoot. Just something I decided to create as I want certain looks to take you breath away.... .. yeah..
Pictures are nice, and here's a sneak peak on the upcoming fashion collection (not dat globally exposed, but still..)

So here you have, here it is. Feel free to want to see the rest of it.
Thanks and hugs and all to Dr. Rygg and Ma'am Wollis for inputs and criticts. I know a thing we all agree of, which we don't mention in public, but this exposed here, dat we dig.

Inquadra e scatta; Polarizzatore - fashion polaroids

During photoshoots I find it fun to capture scenes in every possible way. Therefore I bring a 6x7 Mamiya, some old kind of a point'n'shoot, of course the digital and now a polaroid camera. The results of this provides a great stack of different photographic expressions, depending on film and bla bla, as you know.
As I'm at it, I'll smack up some polaroids from the latest fashion. Luckily, Ma'am Wollis has a sister. She's tall and "modelly" and did a great job, dressing my pictures.
Theese first two are from the shoot recently spoken of in the polaroid fashionists own blog. We created som artsy t-shirts ourselves and made fashion.

This one is from a shoot we did at Sundvollen Hotel, west of Oslo. The idea behind is vintage and the location supports dat perfectly. Ma'am Wollis' sister performs again and the pictures looks very nice. Thanks to Dr. Rygg for comments with and without great content, mostly useful.
Updates on complete results on its way for 29th of May.
